My living room is the epicenter of my home. It’s where we spend the majority of our time together as a family. I like to keep things fun and fresh in here, and as you know, I like to change up my pillows quite frequently! However, I haven’t changed out my coffee table decor for a while, and I was feeling in a bit of a home decor rut when in came to this space. It seemed like the same ‘ole decor, with just different flowers! So today, I’m talking about how I updated my coffee table decor and improved the seating arrangement in my living room to give this space a fresh new look all with products purchased from The Home Depot.

I was able to find several gorgeous items to use in my living room and coffee table update. Changing up your coffee table decor is a quick way to freshen up your living room. Since it’s a space that your guests will undoubtedly notice and you will use on a daily basis (I mean, you need a place safely put your coffee mug, right?), it’s important to have a few key items on your table. I kind of have a little formula when it comes your coffee table decor…

I got this pretty ceramic vase from The Home Depot for my coffee table. The vase is the perfect size and the cute rope around it gives it character, with just a hint of the rustic look that I love! I also got this pretty domed cloche with a rustic wood stand that I thought was perfect for displaying my candles. I added a couple new coffee table books, which provide a nice base for the other decor. Utilizing books also allows you to bring visual interest to the coffee table decor by varying the heights of the items.

 I found this gorgeous bone rod pattern decorative box to use on my coffee table on The Home Depot’s website. I loved it’s unique look. I think it’s important to add decor with texture and interest to your coffee table. This box is also functional because it’s the perfect size for storing coasters and remote controls!

I also found these elegant white beaded throw pillows in The Home Depot’s online home decor section. I love how these pillows are neutral and could work with any color scheme. The beaded detailing on the pillows is just the perfect amount of glam to add to my space! And in case you’re wondering, these are not just pillow covers…they come with the pillow insert as well!

Last but not least, I wanted to add some additional seating to my living room for when guests come over or when we want to play board games as a family. We had all this empty space in front of our coffee table, so I thought that adding a couple ottomans would be perfect. These white linen ottomans with nail head detailing work really well with my existing living room furniture. They’re so comfy, and I love that we can move them around easily as needed for guests or when the kids want to play at the coffee table. They’ve been he perfect addition to our seating arrangement in this space.
