Welcome to My Texas House! Thanks for stopping by! My website is the best resource for sources, links, photos, and all the details on my home and the My Texas House brand.
Hey friends! I’ve been getting a lot of questions recently about the bedding in my master bedroom. I tend to link to several different products across many different retailers and price points to hopefully appeal to everyone’s style and budget! But I’ve been asked to give specifics on EXACTLY where my bedding is from…so I will take you through all the sources and explain how I make my bed!
I have actually had several different white ruffle duvet covers over the last few years. The one I currently have on my bed is my favorite because of its long dramatic ruffle on the bottom, plus I find that it doesn’t wrinkle as easily as other white duvet’s that I’ve had. This ruffle duvet cover is from the Etsy store, Simply French Market. My friend, Terri, makes these gorgeous duvets and matching ruffle shams. I love the shabby chic style and how it gives my room a romantic feel! I have this {EXACT ruffle duvet} in a king size on my bed. I have a duvet insert from Ikea inside of the duvet. The king size {ruffle pillowcases} at the very back of my pillowscape are also from Simply French Market.
The {dotted duvet cover} on the end of my bed is from Urban Outfitters! I love how whimsical and sweet this ivory duvet is. I have a very light and thin duvet inside of this duvet so that it doesn’t have too much volume on the end of my bed.
As I mentioned above, the first pillows we have are our sleeping pillows with the {ruffle pillowcases} from Simply French Market. Next I have 3 Euro sized pillows with white {Euro shams} from Bloomingdales. I often link similar less expensive white Euro shams here. Next I have 3 18″ {slate blue pillows} from Amazon. And then I have two {pom pom pillow covers} from Ebay. Lastly, in the front I have this gorgeous 24″ {white embroidered pillow} from Serena & Lily! I’m obsessed with this pillow because it’s so gorgeous and is so versatile. I’m sure you’ve seen me use it in many of my room stylings.
The {floral pillow} and {white tassel pillow} on the bench are available on Etsy.
I’ve done a separate bedroom source post about my chandelier and my new French country mirrors which you can find by clicking the corresponding links. But you can also go to my new {eBay landing page} to get the links to my bedroom sources including my lamps, my chandelier, and my mirrors.
My bedroom rug is from the Mytexashouse by Orian rug line. You can find this rug at Walmart, Amazon, Wayfair, or Houzz! Prices change so much on the rug on each of these sites, that it’s good to check them out to see if anyone’s having a sale on my rugs before you buy! Remember that my rug collection is completely stain resistant, water resistant (can be used as an outdoor rug!) and they’re so easy to clean!
My {bed} is available at Wayfair. It’s a pure white color and the material is velvet! We have a 7″ boxspring on the platform bed.
My {side tables} are unfortunately out of stock right now but I will link some similar ones below.
And as I mentioned in a previous post, I plan to change out my artwork above my bed soon. These mirrored frames haven’t been available in a long time. But you can find some similar ones on eBay.
My bench is available on a couple different websites including eBay, Walmart and Wayfair. You can comparison shop to find the best price! My exact tray on the bench is no longer available, but I found a similar one linked here.
I also have the new desk area in my room! My {table} and {settee} are from Walmart and are super affordable. I’ve linked the products to my desk area below. Or you can check out the blog post that I did about this area.
My dresser is from Restoration Hardware (the Maison Collection). I’ve linked some similar more affordable dressers below.
I hope this was helpful and cleared up any confusion about the sources of my bedding and other bedroom pieces! Thanks for stopping by!
