Hey guys! I cannot believe my kiddos are back in school! It’s always so bittersweet as you watch your kids grow and develop into wonderful little humans, and at the same time just want them to stay your babies forever! Back to school preparations had to happen pretty quickly for us this year, since we were out of town at the end of summer and the new school year snuck up on us. Luckily, we have a brand new Walmart down the street from us and we utilized Walmart.com quick shipping to get a lot of our back to school supplies and clothes for my kiddos! Because my kids leave for school at different times and due to bad weather forecast on the first day of school, I embarrassed my kids by making them pose for back-to-school pics the day before school started!
Kayla looked adorable in her {leopard ensemble} for the first day of school. The cute leopard top, animal print skirt with attached shorts underneath, as well as matching leggings are available as a {set} for only $15 from Walmart. She likes both animal print and unicorns so I tried to mix it up with the items I got her for school this year. These adorable {shoes with the animal print star} were the perfect addition to her outfit.
Since she doesn’t take much to school besides a binder and backpack, I like the smaller size of this adorable {furry backpack} as well as the cute {panda sequin backpack} seen below! Both backpacks are only $12!! Best of all, everything I purchased for her from Walmart for her back to school wardrobe are $15 and under. Check out the collages below for some of the cute outfit ideas for little girls at Walmart.com!
Here’s another outfit Kayla picked out for school! Love this cute {panda backpack} and these adorable {star tennis shoes} similar to her first day of school ones. The shoes run true to size. Kayla is wearing size 1.
I’m lucky because Jason, who is 10, isn’t too picky when it comes to his clothes. He lets me pick out his outfits most days, though he’s perfect able to pick out his clothes himself when he wants to. I love the selection and great prices of the clothes I found for him at Walmart! This outfit he’s wearing is super affordable. The {gray polo shirt} was only $6 and the {black Tony Hawk shorts} were only $10. We also got him this {Eastport backpack} for only $17 at Walmart. For something that is going to get tossed on the ground at school and stepped on during his bus rides, I figured we didn’t need to waste our money on a $75 backpack!
I make my kids lunches every day. It’s not that I’m “that” mom that is just so together that I’ve got gourmet lunches for them all the time. It’s just that my kids hate the school cafeteria food and pretty much refuse to eat it! So I love these little {storage containers} that fit in their lunch boxes, so I can put in grapes, sandwiches, and other snacks and not always have to buy the little prepackaged snack bags which tend to get expensive! Walmart has a great selection of school lunch containers and storage supplies. I linked my favorites below!
