I have created a bit of a winter capsule wardrobe using affordable staple pieces from Walmart to pair with some cute fashionable tops.

Skinny Jeans

The first piece of my capsule wardrobe are these black button-up skinny jeans from Walmart. These flattering jeans are comfy, mid-ride jeans with tons of stretch. I’m wearing size 5, which is my normal size for Junior sizing. I’m usually a size 26 in most jeans for reference. I love having black jeans as a staple in my winter wardrobe because they go with everything and can be dressed up or dressed down depending on how you accessorize them! And at $14.95, they are such an amazing price for the quality!

Heeled Boots

I decided to try two different similar styles of black heeled boots from Walmart to add to my winter capsule wardrobe. One with a lower heel for more everyday use, and a higher stacked heel for dresser outfits. The cute lower heeled boot has a faux-crocodile skin textured leather and comes in a white color as well. I’m wearing a 7.5, which is the lower end of my normal sizing..I can also usually wear size 8 in shoes. At only $27.95, they are a must-have for your winter wardrobe!

Animal Print Sweater

I paired the skinny jeans and low heeled boots with this cute leopard print sweater. This cozy sweater runs true to size (I’m wearing an XS) and has a cropped, boxy fit perfect for tucking in the front. It comes in several different colors and is only $25.00 at Walmart.com!

Faux Fur Teddy Bear Coat

The next staple in my capsule winter wardrobe from Walmart is this fabulous brown teddy bear faux fur coat! I’m obsessed with this coat! It’s warm and cozy, as well as being really comfortable! I’ve been searching for a great teddy bear jacket that was also affordable and at $49.95, this one was a perfect fit. I got size small, but probably could’ve taken a XS too if I wanted a more fitted look. I likesizing up in my winter coats though to be able to fit oversized, bulky sweaters. 

Off the Shoulder Top

For a fancier, date-night look for this winter, I paired my black skinny jeans and high heeled faux snake skin boots from Walmart with this cute off-the-shoulder animal print top!  I love that this top is a soft stretch knit fabric and has a flattering fitted waist. This top fits true to size, and I’m wearing XS. 

Black Handbag

I also found this black BCBG handbag for only $29.95. This designer handbag normally retails for $98!! Walmart has a ton of designer bags for great prices on their website! 

Turtle Neck Sweater

The last piece of this small capsule wardrobe that I’m highlighting today from Walmart.com is this cute turtle neck textured sweater with gold button detailing. As with most of the items in this capsule collection this sweater is from Walmart’s new fashion brand called Scoop. I’m loving all the items from Scoop, from their skirts and dresses, to cute tops and boots like the ones I’ve shown in this post.
