Hey I'm Erin
I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite parts of going on vacation is enjoying the soft, high quality hotel bedding. I love coming back to my hotel room to a freshly made bed with crisp white linens. Now that I am back home from our summer vacation, I decided it was time to give my own bedroom a crisp white summer update with some gorgeous bedding from Bloomingdales.
If you have followed my page for a while you’ll notice that I like to keep the overall look of my bedding pretty much the same. I like to invest in high quality, durable pieces that I can use season after season, and simply change out the pillows and the top coverlet to give my bedding a fresh new look.

For this summer bedding update, I chose the Anne de Solene Heritage bedding collection from Bloomingdale’s line of amazing luxury bedding. It’s delicate and beautiful eyelet lace embroidery is the perfect light and airy look I wanted for summer. The Anne de Solene bedding collection is 100% cotton percale with a luxurious 300 thread count and feels incredibly soft to the touch. This bedding collection is definitely an investment, but because it is a higher quality linen, it will hold up over time. Additionally, because of it’s white color these bedding pieces will be pieces will be easy to use throughout the year and mix with other bedding collections.
In order to keep white bedding from looking plain and one dimensional, I like to layer in lots of different textures and mix and match bedding collections. So for this bedding ensemble, I combined my existing ruffle duvet cover and shams, with a diamond coverlet, three eyelet shams from the Anne de Solene collection, as well as the eyelet duvet and king size lace pillow cases from the Heritage Collection at Bloomdingdales.com.
See the pictures below for the order I used to layer my bedding pieces (some of the pieces seen in my room, I’ve replaced with similar ones I found at Bloomingdales):
Using these gorgeous pieces from Bloomingdales.com, I was able to give my bedroom a fresh and crisp new look for the summer. Check out Bloomingdales entire line of high quality, luxury bedding for your own summer bedding makeover.
