Dressing up your bedding this time of year can be a fun way to add a little festive holiday touch to your room, as well as a good way to adjust to the weather by adding warmer sheets and/or a thicker comforter/duvets. Today I’m partnering with The Company Store to show you how just a few pieces of new bedding can create a dramatic new look to any bedroom.

The moment I saw the Castleton Cotton Quilt on The Company Store’s website, I fell in love! It’s totally different than any other style of bedding I’ve ever had in my room and certainly a big change from my normal neutral, tone-on-tone look I show in my room. I love the bold contest of the ivory and black design. The quilt has a traditional look, but the color makes it feel modern!

The quilt is a medium weight quilt, so I decided to also add the white ruffle duvet from The Company Store to add a little more warmth to our winter bedding. The white ruffle duvet comes as a set with two ruffle shams as well. Kayla actually has this set in her room, you can see her bedding here.

The euro and king sized sham are sold separately from the quilt, but this allows you to purchase the right number of shams for your bed. I chose to do three euro shams from the Castleton set and two king size shams, which have the same design as the quilt. I liked the Castelton quilt set because while it creates a bold new look in my room for the holidays, it doesn’t look “Christmas” so I can use it throughout the year!

I also added this gorgeous and super soft arctic fox faux fur throw and matching faux fur pillow to my holiday bedding. Jessie has already claimed the throw as her own! She literally hasn’t left it since I unpacked it! I love how the faux fur adds a touch of texture and softness to the very traditional-looking quilt!

For an extra touch of festive holiday glow, I added this white felt leaf garland and some string lights to the top of my bed. And chose this pretty felt wreath for above my bed also from The Company Store!
