Hey guys! I haven’t shown my younger daughter’s room in a while here on my blog. We’ve done quite a few changes in here recently, most notedly, the addition of the whimsical wall mural. When I finished with the mural, I chose an all white bedding look so as not compete with the very bold wallpaper. However, after living with it for a few months, I decided that we need to add a little more color and texture to Kayla’s bedding. So with the help of The Company Store, we changed out all of her bedding and gave her a gorgeous new layered bedding look for her sweet bedroom!

The Foundation of a Good Night’s Sleep: Sheets and Blankets

To give Kayla’s bed a more grown-up look with lots of gorgeous texture, I chose several different patterns and colors and layered them together. First, I picked out some adorable pink polka dot sheets. The {Swiss Dot Percale sheets} are super soft and high quality. I added the super cozy {Company Plush Blanket} in Classic Berry next. This blanket, along with most of her new bedding, is on sale during The Company Store’s White Sale! 

I also added a gorgeous {white ruffle duvet cover} to her bedding. This linen duvet cover has a luxurious texture and a cute box pleat trim. I placed The Company Store’s super soft {Cloud blanket} (color is Stone) at the end the bed to break up all the white and to add texture. Kayla will definitely be warm and cozy this winter with all these fabulous layers!

The Finishing Touch: pillows, throws, and accessories 

 I finished Kayla’s new bedding look with a collection of different pillows from The Company Store. The blush colored {linen pillows} with fringe and the {teal block print pillow} with little pearl detailing add a touch a whimsy and a much needed pop of color to the space.

Lastly, I picked out a few pretty pillows for Kayla’s swing, and added this light and airy white {linen throw with tassel trim}. Kayla is IN LOVE with all her new bedding and couldn’t wait to dive into all these gorgeous layers on the first night. She was particularly smitten with the cute little {plush cat} I picked out for her!
