Today I’m excited to share with you the update we did in our kitchen dining area! We have had a round table in the space for about a year, but I’ve missed having more seating which a rectangular table provides. So in my search for a new larger dining room table, I went to one of the best websites to shop for fabulous furniture, The Home Depot! 

I found this gorgeous rustic trestle dining table on home depot’s website and instantly fell in love! I knew it would look amazing in our space. I found it by searing through The Home Depot’s “Shop By Room” page where you can find inspirational room pictures and links to products grouped by design styles such as Modern, Rustic, Casual, Global or Industrial.

Once we received our new dining table, assembly was super easy! We just attached the base to the table top, but it is a two person job! Next, I had to decide which dining chairs to use with the new table. I have three options that are all available on Home Depot’s website. 

The Round Back Chair

My first choice is the French Country style round back chair which I was previously using in the space. The classic shape of these chairs and the wood tone worked amazing with the dining table.

The Black Spindle Chair

Next, I considered these beautiful & modern rustic black chairs for our kitchen nook space. I love how these chairs contrasted with the beautiful wood tone of the table. They are a traditional silhouette that will never go out of style.

The Wood Cross-Back Chair

The final option are these rustic traditional wood cross-back chairs. I love their clean look and the fact that they match our barstools in the kitchen.
