As we get closer to Black Friday and Christmas, I thought I would highlight some of my favorite gift ideas and must-have deals of the season. EBay is a great place to shop for deals on electronics, winter fashion essentials, and of course, products for your home.

I’m not sure how it works for you guys as far as Christmas gifts, but my husband and I don’t really buy each other anything. We basically tell each other what we want for Christmas, and then go ahead and buy it for ourselves! Yes, that means no surprises on Christmas morning, but it also means I always get exactly what I want!

To treat myself with an early Christmas present this year, I just got a new iRobot Roomba vacuum from eBay. There are some great deals on Roomba vacuums this time of year on eBay both new and refurbished. It’s easy to find the best deals on vacuums on eBay. You can use the search function to find the exact Roomba (or other home product you’re looking for) on eBay, and also specify the condition (new, used, refurbished) and price range. Then you can even set up email alerts for when an item is listed with that criteria. 

This iRobot Roomba 685 came with two room virtual wall barriers, which keeps the Roomba only in the spaces you want it. This new Roomba features intelligent sensors to guide it underneath furniture, and even automatically docks in it’s charger when it’s done. It has sensors that prevent it from running into furniture or wall, as well as preventing it from falling down stairs. The Roomba is easy to set-up and use, works on hardwood floors, rugs, and carpet with ease, and you can schedule it to operate 7 days a week!

I have to say I’m loving having this new Roomba vac! It’s so nice to have it clean when I’m busy doing work or relaxing. Jessie is definitely unsure of it. She’s not afraid, but definitely doesn’t want to be friends with Mr. Roomba! 

The best part about having a robotic vacuum besides just the convenience of it vacuuming when you are doing other things, is that it gets into the nooks and crannies that my regular vacuums and I can’t reach, like under the beds and couches. It has a little brush that extends out to kind of sweep in the dust and hair along base boards and under furniture.

My only warning is that Mr. Roomba does NOT like throw blankets left hanging on the floor. It will start to suck up the blanket, but luckily it has an auto-shut off to prevent any damage to the vacuum or the item it’s trying to suck up! We just make sure we don’t have anything like that hanging on the ground when Roomba is out!

I loved that the Roomba was able to get under the Christmas tree to get all the flocking left by our flocked Christmas tree.

The Roomba is excellent at sweeping up the dirt and hair that sticks to floor boards and under the cabinet overhang. Those areas are a constant battle for me to keep clean.

When the Roomba vac is done cleaning it goes back to its home port to charge. You need to clean out the debris cartridge every so often, but it holds a lot! 

I have two other vacuums as well actually! I know it’s a lot, but they all serve their own special purposes! I love my Dyson cordless vac which I also got on eBay because it’s great for small jobs and when you want to quickly touch up the house. It’s the vacuum I use on the 2nd story of our house because it’s easier to move around with it being cordless. The corded Shark vacuum (similar here)I have is good for heavier duty jobs because it has such amazing suction. 

Another strong asset in my cleaning arsenal…The Dyson V8 Animal cordless vacuum.

Ebay is also having some great deals on Dyson cordless vacuums like mine! There is even a Dyson store on eBay where you can shop brand new and refurbished Dyson vacs that come straight from the manufacturer. I have the Dyson V8 animal+ cordless vacuum. It has amazing suction and holds it’s charge long enough for me to vacuum the entire house. 

I highly recommend the Dyson cordless, the corded Shark,  and the iRobot Roomba vacuums. I think they all serve a different and valuable function in my home. But I will say having this new Roomba vacuum doing the maintenance on my floors every day is going to save me so much time! I’m so glad I decided to treat myself with it for Christmas! So what is on your Christmas wish list?
