We are getting so excited for my mom’s new independent living space we are building in our house to be complete! It is getting close to being done….just another few weeks. Unfortunately, our freak winter storm last week put us back a week or two.

While we are eagerly awaiting the completion of my mom’s new space, I’ve been getting lots of supplies for her new kitchenette space. I had hoped to show you them up in her room today, but it will have to wait another week as we are still waiting on the countertop installation. In the meantime, I wanted to share some of the new items I’m excited for my mom to have in her space! I found all of them by shopping the great selection of kitchen products from The Home Depot.

Shop My Mom’s New Kitchen Products:

First, my mom needed a new Keurig Coffee Maker for her room. We have one in our main kitchen but she will definitely need her own upstairs. Since she will also need her own dinnerware, flatware, mugs and glasses, I got my mom a set of each for her new space! She will have a floating shelf above her sink that will be a convenient spot to store her mugs, plates and glasses. 

I found this adorable square style stone dinnerware set at The Home Depot. The 16 piece set includes plates, bowls and matching mugs. I love the dotted edge and it’s sturdy enough for everyday use!

I found these cute dotted glasses to coordinate with her dinnerware set also on homedepot.com! These durable, stackable, and dishwasher safe glasses come as a set with both water and juice size glasses. 

For my mom’s drawers, I plan to use the same pretty drawer liner I shared with you in this past post. I love the classy design of this liner and how easily it is to install. This style of drawer liner uses a non-adhesive backing to stay in place so you don’t have to mess with hard to install adhesive contact paper. 

I plan to get some under cabinet organizers for her once we move her in, but for now, I got her this bamboo utensil organizer for her new flatware set!
