Hey guys, fall is officially here, and even though it’s still hot as ever here in Texas, I’m all about decorating both indoors and outside for the Fall season. Today, I am excited to show you how I decorated our front porch with some cute and affordable products from Walmart!
I like to say our porch is small, but has lots of personality. It’s definitely something I would change about my house if we were to do it all over again. Because of its small size, I have to get a little more creative with the type of decor and door mats we can use. Speaking of creative, my UPS guy is going to have to find a new place to stash our packages now that I’ve taken up my entire patio with pumpkins and mums! 😉
I found this small {“hello” doormat} and the coordinating {buffalo check rug} from Walmart.com. I love layering my front porch door mats to give it more visual interest, especially since it’s already such a small sized porch! The {“hello” doormat} is super affordable at only $11.40!
I also added this fall {wheat grass wreath} to our door. It’s simple and classy and can last throughout the fall season. And I found these {black lanterns} at Walmart to add a little height and contrast to my Fall front porch display. I placed {battery operated candles} with a remote in the lanterns and can turn them on in the evenings to create a beautiful ambiance on our porch. (Update since I wrote this: Battery operated flameless candles will melt in the Texas heat! It was 98 degrees today!)
I also added these two {metal planters on stands} from Walmart to hold my new mums. I love the look of these planters. They’re sturdy, but not heavy so I’m able to move them around as needed. I’m hoping I’ll be able to keep all these mums alive through Thanksgiving… however that’s pretty doubtful (especially in this crazy Texas heat!). But I’m going to try my best to keep them going all season! I just love having mums in my entryway for Fall!
Adding an abundance of pumpkins both real and faux is also a must for my fall porch decor. These are really the star of the show! I found some faux pumpkins at Walmart.com (I’ve linked some options below).
Check out Walmart’s huge selection of Fall decor and get your front porch and entryway ready for the season! Thanks for stopping by!
